Weekends Over.

I never do my hair on the weekend.

Sometimes for church but usually I just throw it up, put on something nice and go.

And this weekend was no different.

Even if I wanted to do it on Saturday, I wouldn't have been able to cause our pipes were frozen.

Yech. It sucked.

But we got them de-frozen(?) and are all good now.

And it snowed all night on Saturday!

Mother Nature must read my blog.

This is my new scarf from a giveaway from these ladies.

I loove it!

I think its cause I can't shop right now, but I was like checking the mail everyday, waiting with such anticipation!!

And I love it!

When I won it I wasn't sure if I was going to get to wear it that much because it wasn't that cold at the time, but now, as I said before, freezing, so it is definatly gonna be worn!!

I really wanna do a giveaway at the end of the 30 to thank all you guys for hanging out with me during my challenge!!

It is ssooo freakin cold!!

So cold.

I wore these short pants today and everyone, including me, was like what were you thinking?!!

A guy at my work asked me why I was wearing my I dream of Jeanie shoes when it was so cold outside?

And it isn't snowing.

I have a theory that if it is gonna be cold, I am ok with it, but only if there is snow.

And there is no snow.

So I am not ok with it.

What is the weather like where you guys are?

Creepy.

I look creepy in this picture.

But to be honest, this is the best one out of the bunch.
I am on the tail end of the flu and feeling kinda blah, so I was not in the mood for pictures!
But my cute little puppy perked me up a bit!!

I feel like I have been sick so much this winter!

I usually am not someone who gets sick a ton.

I'm hoping that this will be the last of it!!



Springtime and Snow.

So about a week ago, it was super nice.
I was so excited that spring was coming and I was planning out everything springish I was gonna buy when the 30 for 30 was over.

And then today it snowed.

And its freezing.

Why must mother nature play such tricks on me?

Just be cold and then nice.
There is no need to mix it up.

My poor little feetsies were so cold today in these flats.

But I am kinda sick of boots!

Does anyone else have that?

In the fall, I can't wait till I can whip out my boots.

I'm just chomping at the bit.

And now I am just dying to wear sandals!

And I'm getting sick of boots.

Just can't please me I guess.

Forgetful.

I am so happy that I am over half way done!

I am getting kinda sick of my 30 items and I am sooo excited to wear the rest of my clothes in my closet!

I have a couple outfit ideas still in my head but I'm a little nervous about thinking up 13 more!

Sorry I've been missing in action this weekend.

Travis came home on Thursday night and then I worked all day Friday and Friday night.
We did house stuff on Saturday (picking out cabinets and floors) and then today we had Travis's nephews birthday party and his grandpas birthday party.

Phew!

I am exhausted just telling you about it!

But I was good and took picks of my outfits.

Weird

Today was weird.

I hear its a full moon tonight so maybe thats why.

It started with me being tired.

So I decided to get myself a coffee at the local coffee shop.

And I got myself an extra shot.

And I was wired.

And hyper.

And I had to do outfit pics and I couldn't stand still.

So that explains the pics above.

So this is the first time I've worn these tights and I got so many comments today.

Some good some bad.

I was called a Fairy alot.

Someone told me I needed a tiara and a wand.

I decided to take them all as compliments.

Who doesn't want to be a fairy?

But not a fairy godmother.

They are old.

Nothing Cool.

So I have nothing cool to say today.

I have to work late tonight and I am super excited for Travis to come home tomorrow night!

One of those awesome peoples is Lisa.

She is a super dooooper adorable little lady and I am always so inspired by the simplicity of her outfits.

There was one day she came to work in just a white tshirt and a scarf and I was mesmerized.

Few people can do that!

So today she walked in looking all cute and I made her stand still for a moment so I could take a picutre to show you all her cuteness.

Can you believe she has 4 kids?!?!

Happy Valentines Day!!

So as you know, Travis is out of town this week and so I woke up thinking today was gonna be kinda sad.

But as much as I already miss him, today was pretty awesome!!

It says TJP (travis) loves KLP (me) soo much.

Then I decided to try something new with my hair and followed this tutorial and looved it.

And then I won a cowl from these lovely ladies.

Awesome!

I work downtown in my town and there is a flower shop just a ways down and it was soo cute to watch all the guys leaving with these big bouquets.

There is alot of lucky ladies in this town!

I'm lucky enough so have a fluffy puppy Im gonna go and cuddle with!

I was talking to a photographer(kinda) about them last night at a church thing and it made me want one soo much more!!

I am leaning towards a Nikon but I have heard that Canons are really user friendly too.

I don't want anything astronomically expensive, but I want something good.

Sooooo today I found out that my lovely husband will be out of town all next week for work.

Including Valentines Day.

What the heck right?

It should pretty much be a given that you don't send anyone out of town on Valentines Day.

And so on Valentines Day, I will be alone.

How sad right?

I thought once you were married you never had to be one of those pathetic girls that sits at home alone, eating chocolate and watching romantic comedies ever again.

Super exciting!!!

The whole things has been a super crazy process that has taken way longer than we thought it would.

But having the walls up is still so surreal!

It is just so weird to think in a couple of months we will be living in this box!

I did.

And my voice is hoarse cause of all the screaming that I did.

Needless to say, I was pretty excited that the Packers won!!

And so was the husband.

I don't think there is a team in the NFL he dislikes more than the Steelers.

It's an old rivalry between the Seahawks and the Steelers.

And he's a die-hard Hawks fan!

I didn't even like football before we got married.

And now I am screaming about it.
