Scared Stupid.

Top and Jeans-Gap, Belt-Jacob, Shoes-Aldo

Halloween is almost upon us.
And can I just tell you that it is my least favorite holiday {if you can even call it that}.
I am the biggest chicken you will ever lay eyes on.
I freak out about everything.
I got scared of Ernest Scared Stupid.
Go ahead. Judge. I'm ok with it.
The problem with this all is that I am married to a man who likes scary movies and shows.
His brothers are watching that show The Walking Dead and they convinced him that we should watch it.
So, last night, we cozied up in bed with our laptop and watched the first episode.
I was in Travis's armpit wimpering the whole time.
It. Was. Terrifying!!
Afterwards, I was conviced I would never be able to sleep again, and so I made Travis stay up till midight with me, watching funny cat videos on youtube to try and get it all out of my head.
Needless to say, I don't think we'll be watching any scary movies or tv shows together anytime soon.

Foggy

Shirt-F21, Vest-Old Navy, Jeans-Gap, Belt-Jacob, Shoes-Old Navy

Yesterday was the coldest day yet this Fall
{and I froze my butt off in this sheer shirt. I clearly know how to dress for Fall!!}.
It was so cold and foggy all day and I just loved it.
There is something about fog that just makes things cozy.
{are you guys sick of that word yet? I feel like I say it every post!!!}
Another thing fog does....makes me feel like I can speed.
Isn't that dangerous?! I can't explain it though....I guess I just feel invisible!
Anyways, its Thursday and I could not be more excited for the weekend.
Saturday the Mr will be back and we are headed to Monroe for Ruffles & Rust.
The Fall one is my favorite!
Are any of your guys gonna be there? If you live around Seattle you should check it out!

I am also linked up here!!

Camouflage

Shirt-F21, Pants-Gap, Shoes-Target, Watch-Nordstrom, Bracelets-F21, Shine Project

All of the pictures with the trees and the greenery, those are around our house.
So when I asked husband to take my outfit pics {cause he's back. yay!}
we wandered around a bit trying to find somewhere that I would not blend into the backround.
That camo.
Its really doing its job here.

It's suppose to be another beautiful Fall weekend here.
And we have some fun things lined up so I am excited and ready!
Have a perfect weekend all!

Who knew?

Shirt-Old Navy, Pants-F21, Boots-Piperlime, Necklace-J Crew Outlet

I like crazy just as much as the next girl.
Sometimes, people around these parts, stare at me.
Wondering what I am wearing.
But I feel like if I was in a city or a more, lets say, fashion forward town, I would fit right in {but where would the in that be?}.
But I live here and my cozy little town is what it is.
And I am weird here.
I wear "crazy" things.
Like these pants.
And to tell you the truth, I never would have thought I would wear "leather" pants.
But I do. And I love them.
Y'all are witnessing the evolution of Kirsten Postma.

Obsessed

 Shirt-H&M, Pants-Gap, Belt-Jacob, Shoes-Old Navy

I do this thing, where I like a trend or style of something and I become obsessed.
I need it in every color and type.
This has happened with peplum.
I wasn't a huge fan of it at first, but then I found a cheap version at Target and now I'm in love.
I think the selling point, is that it comes away from the body right at my stomach.
So. I can stuff my face with food, and no one is the wiser to my expanding stomach.
I was staring at my closet trying to decide what to wear to a fundraiser dinner {buffet. perfect for face stuffing} and saw this peplum, and thought to myself ...umm duh.
And so, this is what I wore.
