The weekend went by soo fast.
It was filled with packing and work.

My pants blend into the trim!

We are moving in 2 weeks!!

It just snuck up on me!

It doesn't help that we had to bump it up a week.

Travis grounded me from the computer cause apparently I am on it to much and not doing enough packing.

So I snuck on here while he's watching American Idol!

This is the first time that Travis and I have ever moved together and it is so crazy how much stuff we have!!

Does anyone have any tips?

 I feel so over whelmed by all the stuff and the clutter that is becoming my life!

Ok, I'm off to do more packing!!

Crates.

The other day, I was hanging out on Craigslist (yup, I hang out there), and I found some awesome free crates.
So, I , of course, went and got them and they are lovely.

Now I am trying to decide exactly what to do with them.

I also recently just discovered a wonderful site called Pinterest.

I am freeeeeezing in these pictures, just so you know.

So my mom is awesome, but she haaaates (see? I do this alot) mixing patterns.
So I was totally against the idea of it for a long time.
But now, you can't even stop me.
Sometimes, if I don't have at least one pattern item on, I feel so boring!

My 2 favourite patterns are polka dots and stripes.
And plaid.
And floral.
And gingham.
Ok so they're all my fav, but I love polka dots alot.
So I was super excited about the Everyday, Everwear Polka Dot day!
It was just a matter of choosing which polka dot item to wear!
I got this skirt this last Friday on my trip to Seattle.
And I instantly knew it was gonna be THE polka dot item!

A little about me.

Ok, so now that the challenge is over, I thought we could get to know eachother a little better.

So here are a few things about me.

1. I've been married for 4 years. And was married when I was 20!

2. We have a puppy names Duke, who we named after the college basketball team.

3. I am from Canada. Edmonton Alberta to be exact. And yes, we have a huge mall there.

4. I have 2 jobs. One full time and one part time.

5. I am in love with antiquing! I love buying old stuff and mixing it in with nice new stuff!!
6. I like to add extra letters to words to emphasize things. eg. loooooove
7. I'm a terrible listener, so I am constantly just smiling and nodding even though I don't usually know what people are saying. This tends to either get me in trouble, or make an awkward situation.
8. I'm a bad jumper. See here , here and here .

Woo freakin hoo!!

Let me tell you guys, I didn't think I would make it.

But I am so proud that I did and soo happy that I did the challenge.

Here is what I learned.

I can do anything.

No, I'm kidding. There's lots I can't do.

But I did learn that I can wear whatever I want.

I totally agree with  this lovely lady that people, for the most part, don't really care what you wear.

I was always a little nervous to wear ceratin things because I live in a small town where mostly everyone dresses somewhat the same. And I felt like I would stand out like a sore thumb. Maybe I did, but it didn't seem to matter.

This challenge made me more fearless.

And who doesn't wanna be a little more fearless?

That being said, I am soo excited to where whatever the heck I want tomorrow!

Seattle, here I come!

So while you are reading this, I will be driving to Seattle!

My sister in law and I have a tradition that in between our birthdays (mine Jan, hers Feb.) we go down to Seattle for a fun day of shopping.

However the last 2 years have been a bust.

Life has way of getting in the way, you know?

So this year, with is both moving, we wanted to go down and get some fun new stuff for each of our new houses!

We kinda missed the traditional time, but whatever!

Something needs to be done with my bangs!!

I had to have these pics taken at work today because husband went out of town today.

So I'm sad and lonely.

blogging is hard.

So blogging is hard.

It takes a lot of time and I am really not that witty.

I really like it though and I like getting feedback on what people think looks good and what doesn't.

So if you think something looks bad, don't be afriad to tell me.

Nicely though.

I'm sensitive.

One big reason blogging is hard for me though, is that I compare myself to people way to much!

I look at other peoples blogs and I think "they are funnier than me" and "they have waaaay more comments and followers than me".

I'm working on it.

Does anyone have any advice on blogging?

I can use all I can get!!

Oh Shoes!

I had a shoe dilema with this outfit.

I could not decided which shoes would look best with it.

I was even willing to cheat and wear something outside of my 30 but I didn't even have anything to cheat with!

Don't you just hate it when that happens!!

Let me tell you, I am so ready for this 30 for 30 to be over.

I am not even as excited as I thought I'd be about the shopping (which is shocking).

But I miss my clothes alot!

Lately I just keep thinking, oh this would be so much cuter with this shirt or that sweater.

I just hope that my clothes don't hold a grudge!!

Weekends Over.

I never do my hair on the weekend.

Sometimes for church but usually I just throw it up, put on something nice and go.

And this weekend was no different.

Even if I wanted to do it on Saturday, I wouldn't have been able to cause our pipes were frozen.

Yech. It sucked.

But we got them de-frozen(?) and are all good now.

And it snowed all night on Saturday!

Mother Nature must read my blog.

Another inside picture because it is soooo cold outside!!

This is my new scarf from a giveaway from these ladies.

I loove it!

I think its cause I can't shop right now, but I was like checking the mail everyday, waiting with such anticipation!!

And I love it!

When I won it I wasn't sure if I was going to get to wear it that much because it wasn't that cold at the time, but now, as I said before, freezing, so it is definatly gonna be worn!!

I really wanna do a giveaway at the end of the 30 to thank all you guys for hanging out with me during my challenge!!

It is ssooo freakin cold!!

So cold.

I wore these short pants today and everyone, including me, was like what were you thinking?!!

A guy at my work asked me why I was wearing my I dream of Jeanie shoes when it was so cold outside?

And it isn't snowing.

I have a theory that if it is gonna be cold, I am ok with it, but only if there is snow.

And there is no snow.

So I am not ok with it.

What is the weather like where you guys are?

Creepy.

I look creepy in this picture.

But to be honest, this is the best one out of the bunch.
I am on the tail end of the flu and feeling kinda blah, so I was not in the mood for pictures!
But my cute little puppy perked me up a bit!!

I feel like I have been sick so much this winter!

I usually am not someone who gets sick a ton.

I'm hoping that this will be the last of it!!



Springtime and Snow.

So about a week ago, it was super nice.
I was so excited that spring was coming and I was planning out everything springish I was gonna buy when the 30 for 30 was over.

And then today it snowed.

And its freezing.

Why must mother nature play such tricks on me?

Just be cold and then nice.
There is no need to mix it up.

My poor little feetsies were so cold today in these flats.

But I am kinda sick of boots!

Does anyone else have that?

In the fall, I can't wait till I can whip out my boots.

I'm just chomping at the bit.

And now I am just dying to wear sandals!

And I'm getting sick of boots.

Just can't please me I guess.

Forgetful.

So I forgot to put up my pic from what I wore yesterday!

I am so happy that I am over half way done!

I am getting kinda sick of my 30 items and I am sooo excited to wear the rest of my clothes in my closet!

I have a couple outfit ideas still in my head but I'm a little nervous about thinking up 13 more!

MIA

Sorry I've been missing in action this weekend.

Travis came home on Thursday night and then I worked all day Friday and Friday night.
We did house stuff on Saturday (picking out cabinets and floors) and then today we had Travis's nephews birthday party and his grandpas birthday party.

Phew!

I am exhausted just telling you about it!

But I was good and took picks of my outfits.

Weird

Today was weird.

I hear its a full moon tonight so maybe thats why.

It started with me being tired.

So I decided to get myself a coffee at the local coffee shop.

And I got myself an extra shot.

And I was wired.

And hyper.

And I had to do outfit pics and I couldn't stand still.

So that explains the pics above.

So this is the first time I've worn these tights and I got so many comments today.

Some good some bad.

I was called a Fairy alot.

Someone told me I needed a tiara and a wand.

I decided to take them all as compliments.

Who doesn't want to be a fairy?

But not a fairy godmother.

They are old.
