I was going through my closet this weekend and I was so overwhelmed by the sheer volume of it.
Not gonna lie guys.
I have a lot of clothes.
I feel like I used to be good at getting alot of outfits out of a smallish amount of clothes because I could remix things well.
But lately, I think I have gotten so wrapped up in the "newness" of clothes and even maybe a little the brand name of it.
So. I was going to do another 30 for 30 but I like the idea of using all of my clothes.
So I am going to do a shopping ban.
For the month of June.
But starting Monday June 4.
To help myself out a little I am going to try to take a picture of my outfit everyday.
The good.
The bad.
And the repeat.
If anyone wants to join along, I would love it!

I like your June shopping ban idea - BUT it's my birthday month, so that would be pretty much impossible for me! Heehee! But I will definitely cheer you on from the sidelines! :)

ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel. I was thinking the same sort of things - which was why I decided to do a 30x 30 challenge! I'm still going, and am really starting to appreciate my closet; especially all the things not in my 30 that I want to be wearing haha! :)

I love this 'fit. The blue with the stripes is awesome. I too have the same problem of being in love with the newness of clothes. Because of my little 'problem' I now have clothes strew all across my room, making it even harder for me to figure out what to wear on any given day!

I also imposed a shopping ban on myself for the month of June (just recently posted about it too!) because of how much I had been buying instead of focusing on what I have. I considered a 30x30 too but didn't do it because right now I'm more interested in appreciating all of the things I have - same thought as you had! Love that you're doing it too, keep us updated with how yours is going! :)
