Ok people.

Tomorrow is the day.

If you are at the Vancouver airport and see a girl sobbing uncontrollably, its me.

To be honest though, I have booked myself solid that whole time that Trav is gone so that I won't have time to sit and think about how much I miss him.

I'm gone this weekend to Victoria, then I come back Sunday and leave Monday to go see

my Mom {!!!} in Palm Springs {!!!}.

So I'll be back Monday with a little recap of my weekend and then be off again.

I'm gonna try and post while in the Springs.

Gonna make my Momma take some outfit pics for me!

I have been trying to do this alot lately.

Pray more.

Worry less.

Not gonna lie, it's hard.

I have always been such a worrier.

Even as little girl, I remember being in a panic when my mom would get home later than she said.

As I get older, I see the ridiculousness in it even more.

Does worrying give me more control over the situation?

No.

Do I think that God can't handle hard situations? Or that me worrying makes Him care more?

No.

So, as husband goes overseas to a foreign country that I know little about,

I am trying really hard to do this.

Pray more.

Worry less.

Farmers Market Photo Dump.

Last weekend we went to the local farmers market with our friends AJ & Adalie.

Adalie is seriously the most amazing little photographer ever.

I stole these pictures from her cause I could not not show her off!!

Afterwards we went to some friends house for a bbq where I think Adalie had her best badminton game of her life.

This Week.

This week is a weird one.

This Friday, I am going away for the weekend to go see my best friend from back home {who I have not seen in far far to long}. Her family is renting a house in Victoria {BC} and I am gonna go stay with them.

And I could not be more excited.

However, also on Friday, I am taking my husband to the airport where he will be going to Romania for TWO whole weeks.

Two weeks people.

That is the longest that we have ever been apart for our whole marriage.

I know that people are apart for longer.

And I know that he is going to have the most amazing time and see and learn so much.

But I am still freaking out.

So.

This week is weird.

Full of excitement and fear.

Do you ever have those days when you are just so madly in love with your husband?

That probably sounds like such a weird question.

But, I feel like after 5 years of marriage, that crazy, can't-get-enough-of-him love has turned into a steady, love-him-for-who-he-is love.
However, there are still those days.

Those days when he fights the crowds at Target with you.
Those days when he bakes with you.

Those lazy days when you just hang out and eat tomato soup.

Those are the days that I am just so overwhelmed with thankfulness.

I'm thankful that God gave me the cutest, most loving and adorable husband I could ever dream of.

Yesterday I had one of those day.

Long time no blog!

Sorry I've been ditching out on you Blog.

Its Summer and finally warm here and I have just been lapping it all up!

That also means that I have been not doing my hair, wearing the same things and generally being boring.

We do have a super fun filled weekend planned coming up so I will document it all and be back Monday {hopefully...maybe lets say Tuesday...}

Roche Lake.

For me, I can tell that it is summer because the days are longer and yet I never have enough time in the day.

I meant to post these forever ago but alas, here we are a week and a half later.

We had such a fun a relaxing time with our great friends Andy and Kara.

Somtimes it is just so good to get out into Gods creation and be reminded of how small we are.

We are suuucchhh safe drivers

This was for sure the high point for Travis.

He caught an 8 pound trout and got put in the record book at the lake lodge.

This is how he felt about it.

All in all it was a wonderful trip.

There were games played, naps taken, books read, fish caught and alot of nature seen.

Oh the 4th

The 4th is always the craziest day.

As I have said before, Travis comes from a huge family and it is chaos getting everyone and all their friends together.

There are children running everywhere and young boys chasing eachother around.

And then there are the old people {me and Travis} sitting by the fire.

I don't know when this happened. That Travis and I joined the ranks of the old fire people.

Then, of course, there are the fireworks.

Crazy fire things that can blow up your face and crazy boys just. don't. mix.

But alas, it is July 5th again and some how, by the grace of God, we are all in one piece!

This is seriously my new favorite picture.

I think it may be the best bunny ears I have ever seen!

{another funny thing about this pic, I am wearing a big jacket and Travis is wearing a tank top.

This sums up our marriage. ha!}
